I have been a terrible blogger recently. I know. But like I said, these last weeks of school are kind of murdering me. But hey, that’s unimportant, because THE ROYAL WEDDING!

I thought it was absolutely stunning. And I really liked what the Bishop of London had to say about the whole affair. His sermon was lovely. The music was incredible! I’m a huge fan of John Rutter, and the music he wrote for the wedding was incredible. Luckily for us, we live in the information age, and the music from the service will be released on iTunes. I am incredibly pumped. And now for the important part– Princess Kate and her wedding dress(es).

At this point, I was crying. So stunning. I loved everything about her wedding ensemble. I thought her veil was particularly sublime.
Here’s Princess Kate’s new, fun dress for the further festivities. She looks lovely, though furry wedding cardigans aren’t quite my style.

With all the Royal Wedding madness, I thought I’d just post a few fashion finds that remind me of weddings or royalty or anything British, really. So let’s go!

1) Top of Your Class Dress

I adore this. I would feel like a royal bride anytime I wore it!

2) Sleeves of Lace Top

A subtle nod of the head to Princess Kate’s dress, with lace sleeves. A touch of royalty on any day!

3) Victorian Romance Draped Dress

This is everything I stand for. Remember, I’m 1/3 Victorian.

4) Georgian Gala Dress

I would wear this to any wedding. It’s gorgeous.

5) Teatime Traditions Dress

I’ll be needing this in my closet, like, yesterday.

6) Jewel Drop Earrings

These little sparklies reminded me of a budget version of the earrings the Middletons gifted Kate.

7) Closing Early Dress

So pretty! There’s really nothing more to say.

8 ) Up the Antique Hat

Sadly this is sold out. Even more sadly, it’s $100. But I adore it. The perfect wedding hat!!

9) Lacey Top

Another way to wear bridal every day. Gorgeous.

10) Old Hollywood Style Fascinator

I have several imitation fascinators which are actually headbands. I should invest in some real ones since I vow to wear them to every wedding from now on.

So those are just a few of the things that made me happy today. Such a beautiful wedding. So much joy in a time when we could all use a day of frivolity, lace, and royalty.

“I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren’t pretty, or smart, or young. They’re still princesses. All of us.”- Sara, in A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Love and Lace,
The Other Princess Kate

P.S. Sorry for the wonky formatting. I’m not sure what was happening, but the entire post is here now, though it doesn’t look very pretty.
