It’s Friday. I’m not sure how it’s Friday and yet this week has dragged on and on and on forever and ever amen.

Monday and Tuesday nights were spent at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo AKA my favorite place to go during “spring.” Monday we saw the Zac Brown Band. They put on a great show, but it was far too short. We were all wanting more. My favorite part (besides shrieking every song from the cheap seats) was an unexpected rendition of America the Beautiful. Which I shrieked even louder.

Tuesday was Miranda Lambert. She is so stinkin’ cute. And very talented. Girl can sing! She’s my favorite kind of passionate, crazy Texas woman that only a Texas woman can be. Y’all know what I mean. So you might not know this about me, but every time I see any type of live performance (that’s good), I regret giving up all of my ambitions of being a performer. So now I’ve spent the remainder of the workweek in an exhausted daze, content with daydreaming about being a rock star. Or a country star. Or a pop star. Or a Disney Princess. Or a Broadway star.

And that brings us here to Friday, where I am exhausted and in a dream-like state. Whooooooo. I really don’t have a lot to say other than I really want to be a rock star. COOL STORY, BRO. TELL IT AGAIN.

And I’m super excited because my best friend in the whole world is coming home tonight and I get to see her! YAY!

And that is everything in my mind right now/the hours and days this post took me to write.

So… Y’all have a great day!
