Happy Friday, everyone!

Can I please just tell you how excited I am to be writing a Fashion Friday post right now? We, we, we, we so excited. IT’S FRIDAY, FRIDAY, GOTTA GET DOWN ON FRIDAY! I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I wish I had an excuse for myself, but I don’t. Rebecca Black is my shoulder devil, singing in my ear every Friday. But that’s neither here nor there.

This summer, I’ve found myself drawn to all things 70s-Inspired. Ergo, I’ve compiled this handy list of things I absolutely love. At the center of the style is the awesome, chunky wedges that are everywhere right now. My favorite selection right now is at Target. They have SO. MANY. And they’re all affordable. Win, win, my friends.

1) Petula Embellished Wedge

Love. Love. Love.
They’re EMBELLISHED. What’s not to like?

 2) Teala Strappy Wedge Sandals

These also come in a stunning, very 70s, yellow. Me gusta.

The next essential element for updated 70s styling is a long and flowy skirt. Some of my favorites include:

3) Sightseeing Skirt

I can't explain why I think this is pretty. I just do.

 4) Bardenas Reales Skirt

Excuse me while I drool into my lightly salted peanuts. This is so beautiful!

And lastly, to complete my love of 70s influences, I bring you frill-enhanced flowy tops.

5) Frill and Grace Tunic

How cute would this be under a boyfriend blazer? SHUT UP IT'S SO CUTE.

 6) Marigolden Years Tunic

I’ve never wanted anything more. Picture this over grey skinny jeans or leggings with turquoise flats. SOLID GOLD!

And that concludes my 3 favorite styles borrowed from the 70s. Please note I do not recommend wearing all 3 of these trends at once. I’m pretty sure that would make you look like the only homeless person with 4 inch wedges.

Also, I know 6 is a random number of items, but… eh. Go with it! I’m just getting used to this “blogging” thing, remember? (How long are you guys going to let me play that card?”

Take it Easy, (Wo)Man,
Kaitlin

    Yay! I’ve missed your blog…

I’ve been loving long flowy skirts this summer, but I can never find one I’m willing to pay for that fits me right.
