Not really I don’t. I’m very chipper. But I did notice a lot of my favorite things around the interwebz this week just so happened to be blue. Ergo, let me share with you some favorites.

1) Layer Upon Layer Dress

Admittedly, this seems a misnomer. There are approximately 2 layers in this dress. But it's still danged cute!

2) Meeting Before Dark Lace Dress in Teal

Everything about this dress is perfect to me. I adore it.

3) Little Chief Honeybee Dress

Darling. This is one of those dresses that makes me think "Picnic in the park." Or, "Meet Peter at the purk."

4) Olive and Oak Strapless Sweetheart Dress

This is stunning. So bright and happy!

5) Royal Gardens Skirt

This is thrice adored: 1) I could not be more in love with that floral pattern. 2) Those jumbo exposed pockets look perfect for sidewalk chalk, am I right? 3) Hellllloooo, the Royal Wedding is swiftly approaching! Perfect!

6) Every Little Thing She Does Polka Dot Dress

I adore this. It's enough Minnie Mouse to make my Disney heart sing, but the cut is modern enough that you could throw on some silver gladiators and bangles and look like Zooey Deschanel.

7) Poetry and Rose Dress

If there's anything I love more than a good aqua, it's aqua with oranges, reds, and peaches. Also I adore this dress because poetry and roses are two of my favorite things in the whole wide world!

8 ) Real McCoy Turquoise Dress

I think this is stunning. The way it flows is very flattering and oh, my word, that color!

9) Sea Level Bag

And here I thought I'd be content with my coral satchel from New York & Co. for spring and summer. Nope.

10) Chelsea Crew “Sari” Oxford Wedges

I love these for every outfit ever. EVER.

11) Teal Me Why Tunic

This is the perfect breezy tunic of my dreams. It also somehow manages to remind me of mermaids, so, win.

12) Sky’s the Limit Bag

Dang you, Francesca's Collections, and all your blue bags I never knew I needed and now I love deeply.

13) 3/4 Sleeve Lace Top

Perfect layering piece. Have you noticed my penchant for royal blue? Because I have.

14) Silence & Noise Open Shoulder Dress

This dress has a really cool strip of black snaps down the back that makes it a little edgier and makes me like it a little more.

15) People Tree School of Fair Trade by Emma Watson Hand Woven Ikat Print Dress

I LOVE this dress and everything it stands for. Fair Trade? Excellent. Emma Watson? Also excellent. I feel that if you're going to drop this money on a dress you might as well support free trade and not the price-gouging abomination that is Anthropologie. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

And that sums it up for my case of the blues!

Since it is Good Friday, I’d like to share a verse I read over on Big Mama:

Isaiah 61:10
“I delight greatly in the LORD;
 my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
 and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness.”

And also in the book of Isaiah, some of my favorite verses of all time;

Isaiah 53

1 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.”

 Have a beautiful Easter!

    Sometimes you put up your lists of clothes and I find a piece or two that just don’t jive with me because, well, we don’t have the same style… which was clear in hs when I was wearing little boy’s clothes or even occasionally dressing like I wanted the wrong kind of attention, and you were wearing lovely pastels and jewel tones and had a perfect face on every day. The way you can tell me, “it’s just not up your alley,” concerning words and movies, I can freely tell you that sometimes, I appreciate a piece you adore more for its stylistic qualities and creativity.
    But, among others, this time…
    GIRL, YOU NAILED IT. I love every single piece up there. The bags are LAHVELY, those shoes are too freaking cute, and I want every dress/top. I can’t even pick one I love the most, except maybe that blue polka dot number… or the aqua one, or maybe the Chief Honeybee dress… er, yeah. My point exactly.
    Spot on, baby. Just divine.

    Also, yes, Jesus is awesome :)
