Hello, Everyone.

I know it happened last week which is a year in internet time, but I keep seeing lovely makeup memorials for Elizabeth Taylor popping up in my subscription box on Youtube.

I think Elizabeth Taylor was one of the most beautiful women ever to have lived. Beyond that, she was a lovely, intelligent woman, and had a realistic sense of self. Meaning she lived glamorously but was well aware of her faults and able to make jokes about them.

Here are a few of my favorite videos (some are included because they’re beautiful and accurate makeups and some are just so sweet.):

In closing, I would just like to say that I see these as honest and beautiful tributes to a beauty icon, and nothing more sinister or selfish.

RIP, Dame Elizabeth.

Loved the Pixiwoo one – very well done! I’ve been watching bits and pieces of Cleopatra all week. It was one of the (admittedly many but still) movie that sold me on history as an amazing story.

P.S. I don’t care what people say, her eyes don’t look violet to me. I mean she is still gorgeous but still I’m just sayin…

I think her eyes are like any other light eyes, they change colors. In certain light they definitely looked violet. But a lot of times they looked more of a indigo or grey blue to me. ::shrug::
